I have decided to take a vow of Soberness for an entire 30 days. Yes, that's right, not a sip for all of November! We all know how much fun it is to be a party animal in college, however that behavior is pretty fricken tough to continue in the world of having a successful career and being a responsible young adult. As a former party animal, I know this first hand!
So as a way to practice self control and moderation, I am taking on this challenge and blogging to prove my progress and maybe even inspire a few of you along the way. This is not even about being an alcoholic, or anti-alcohol, or anything crazy...this is about becoming a more responsible adult and not blacking out every weekend and maybe even remember the weekends. Let's face it, we're not in college anymore!
With any new challenge, goals/guidelines/objectives are essential to being successful. Below is the list I have compiled thus far:
1. Run a 5K in less than 21 minutes
2. Make homemade crafts (AKA pinterest projects)
3. Be able to make it through a yoga class without losing a pose
4. Complete 4 books cover to cover (one a week)
5. Sleep like a winner 10:00PM - 5:00AM
6. Plan one date night/new activity with my man a week
7. Cook three brand new meals a week
8. Eat 100% gluten free
9. Exceed my quota at work for the month
10. Start a blog
Let the challenge begin!
